Foodland - Store
Foodland is an American chain of retail supermarkets that does business in the state of Hawaii, and some of the stores have the names “Sack ‘N Save” or “Foodland Farms”. The supermarkets sell a wide range of products for individuals and families, including fresh produce, meats, pantry items, health & beauty, and many other items.
Foodland - History
The first Foodland store in Hawaii was opened in 1948 by Irish founder Maurice Sullivan, or “Sully”. The company expanded statewide in the next two decades and has become the largest locally owned grocery store chain on the islands. Foodland now operates more than 30 supermarkets throughout the state of Hawaii.

Supplying families with plenty of ways to save money, Foodland provides a promotional ad flyer each week. Customers can save big dollars on bulk items like soft drinks, or get deals on fresh foods from the meat department or produce area. Customer who sign up for the Maika’i membership can get an even lower price on their items, as well as earning rewards points to save even bigger.

Autumn 2022 brings about the Foodland holiday meal drive in which customers can help a family in need to enjoy a holiday meal for Thanksgiving or Christmas. Foodland partners with the local Salvation Army and customers can donate at the checkout in store or online.
