By the 1990s, Samsung began increasingly globalizing its activities, becoming the world’s largest producer of memory chips and developing further into the 2000s and beyond. Samsung’s partnership with the Best Buy retailer, means that there is now a Samsung store within every Best Buy store in the United States.

Samsung is working to make A Greener Galaxy by making their shopping experiences more sustainable. Products are reflective of the company’s sustainable values, including reducing waste by revamping merchandising kits. Rather than including a new paper kit for each product, Samsung provides modular merchandising that is swapped in and out, using plastic recycled from bottles to make the kits.
